Overview
LangGraph is an open-source framework for building stateful, multi-actor agent applications as graphs. Provides low-level orchestration with durable execution, human-in-the-loop interrupts, comprehensive memory (short and long-term), streaming, and time travel debugging. LangGraph 1.0 released October 2025 with node-level caching, deferred execution, and MCP endpoint support. Framework-agnostic - can be used with or without LangChain.
